Former baseball player Choo Shin-soo has analyzed the strategy.
In the 10th episode of Channel A's sports entertainment show 'Baseball Queen', the Black Queens, with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses, face off against the strong team All-In from the Busan & Yeongnam region in a thrilling 6th match.
Before the game, in the locker room, Kim On-a, who was the starting pitcher in the previous 5th match and hit 'back-to-back home runs', proudly wears her 'MVP badge', earning the envy of everyone. Song-a, who narrowly missed the MVP spot despite recording 4 hits in 4 at-bats (including 1 home run) in the 5th match, jokingly asks Kim On-a, "When are you not playing?" and teases, "You're not playing next week, right?" revealing her desire for the MVP title.
Additionally, 'all-rounder rookie' Ayaka, when asked by Kim On-a if she has a position she wants to play today, boldly replies, "Second base!" (Kim On-a's position), causing laughter in the locker room. The players burst into laughter, saying, "Our rookie is so funny," and "Ayaka has ambition~", while a flustered Kim On-a responds, "I'm not playing! I didn't expect this from Ayaka. It's a betrayal!" showcasing their hilarious chemistry.
As the locker room fills with laughter from Song-a and Ayaka's teasing of Kim On-a, Director Park Se-ri, Coach Choo Shin-soo, and Coaches Lee Dae-hyung and Yoon Seok-min enter. Before announcing the starting lineup, Coach Choo Shin-soo asks Song-a, "I've been thinking all week about the moment you overtook the runner ahead of you in the last game. Why did you do that?"
Song-a, who was focused on achieving a 'cycling hit' and ran straight to third base, admits, "I was in a blackout state." Choo Shin-soo comforts her, saying, "A triple is really difficult. I only hit one (cycling hit) in my 33-year career," but Coach Lee Dae-hyung jokes, "But didn't you have no runner ahead of you, Coach?" causing laughter.
Meanwhile, the Black Queens' 6th match opponent is All-In, a strong team that has won and been runner-up in the Yeongnam region league for three consecutive years. They boast a 'solid infield' led by national team reserve pitcher Lee Hye-young and taekwondo national representative 'stolen base king' Park Myung-sook. All-In's high energy and tension even surprise Director Park Se-ri before the game.
