Particularly, Park Hyo-jin, who gained attention for her resemblance to NewJeans' Minji, was moved to tears by the candid evaluations from her seniors.
On the episode of KBS2's variety show 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears' aired on the 25th, the scene where the newly selected 51st class of KBS announcers met their seniors for the first time was revealed.
During the broadcast, the youngest member, born in 2001, Park Hyo-jin introduced herself, saying, "I graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in German Language and Literature. I often hear that I am strong on the inside despite a gentle exterior. I aspire to be an announcer who will be responsible for KBS's future," to which the panel responded with comments like "She looks like an actress" and "She's very pretty."
However, Park Hyo-jin received harsh criticism during the review meeting. Um Ji-in commented, "It's old-fashioned. Her tone is off, and her camera eye contact is awkward. It seems like it might be edited out," while Jun Hyun-moo added, "I don't understand what she's saying. She only talks about herself and lacks impact."
Similarly, announcer Lee Sang-cheol received feedback that "there are too many announcer-like comments" and that his tone was "close to an event tone," while announcer Shim Soo-hyun was harshly criticized for a scene where she hurriedly removed the microphone during a citizen interview, receiving a "failing grade."
