From the 12 to 18, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer seems most likely to wrap a scarf for you in the chilly winter winds?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner.
Kim Eui-young made her official debut as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 of TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May of last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim Eui-young's refreshing charm.
Coming in second place is singer Jeon Yu-jin. After gaining recognition at the 2020 Pohang Beach National Song Festival, Jeon Yu-jin debuted as a singer. On November 19, she appeared on KBS 1TV's 'Gayo Stage' episode 1931, themed 'Winter Sonata'. Jeon Yu-jin captivated the audience with her powerful rendition of Kim Soo-hee's classic 'Affection', demonstrating her controlled emotional expression and stable vocal skills.
In third place is singer Kim Da-hyun. On November 16, Kim Da-hyun released her third full-length album 'Black Swan'. The title track 'Black Swan', written and composed by Kim Da-hyun herself, is a dance song with an EDM rhythm and K-POP sensibility. Kim Da-hyun expressed her excitement, stating, "As a teenager, deciding to release 'Black Swan', my first self-written and composed title track, as part of a new album is an exhilarating experience."
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on themes such as 'Which male singer would you like to go see the night view with in late winter?', 'Which female singer would you like to go see the night view with in late winter?', 'Which male trot singer would you like to go see the night view with in late winter?', and 'Which female trot singer would you like to go see the night view with in late winter?'
