Galaxy Corporation, the agency representing singer G-Dragon, has been awarded a Presidential Commendation for its contributions to the '2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit'.
On the 20th, Galaxy Corporation unveiled the commendation certificate signed by President Lee Jae-myung. The certificate acknowledges the agency's efforts in contributing to national and societal development through the hosting of the 2025 APEC Summit.
Galaxy Corporation expressed their honor in participating in the APEC Summit, stating, "It was a privilege to promote the stature of K-Culture globally and contribute to South Korea's international influence. This was a meaningful opportunity to showcase the power of K-Content beyond mere participation."
Previously, G-Dragon served as an official ambassador for APEC. Galaxy Corporation participated in the summit as an official sponsor, attending the welcome dinner. This accolade follows G-Dragon's achievement as the youngest recipient of the Ok-gwan Order of Cultural Merit, with his agency now also receiving a Presidential Commendation.
During the welcome dinner, G-Dragon delivered a special performance. Notable figures such as Chilean Foreign Minister Alberto van Klaveren and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney were seen capturing G-Dragon's performance. A moment was also captured of the Chinese and Korean leaders sitting together to enjoy the show.
Additionally, Galaxy Corporation distributed 'Peace with Create' light stick packages to attending leaders, engaging in diplomatic activities through K-Culture.
