Chef Choi Kang-rok Surprises Fans with New Look and Reflects on 'Black and White Chef 2' Victory

Chef Choi Kang-rok, the winner of 'Black and White Chef 2,' caught everyone's attention by appearing in a bob wig.

On the 17th, Choi Kang-rok and Chef Kim Sung-woon appeared on An Sung-jae's channel.

In the released video, Choi Kang-rok surprised An Sung-jae by appearing in a bob wig, a stark contrast to his usual hat-wearing appearance. When An Sung-jae jokingly commented, "Your hairstyle has changed a lot," Choi replied, "Hasn't a lot of time passed?"

Choi further explained, "I wanted to express the passage of time, and I thought it was better to show it through my hairstyle rather than words." Reflecting on his feelings after winning, he confessed, "There was a period when I felt a bit intoxicated by the victory. I wanted to quickly move past that state, so I kept myself busy with work. It wasn't until the show completely ended that I felt I could return to my normal life."

An Sung-jae responded, "That's right. It's hard to explain, but I think you must have enjoyed some level of happiness. It seems like you're somewhat addicted to the thrill of survival shows. Even when you're not on TV, you seem to enjoy the excitement of cooking. Is that true?"

Choi Kang-rok admitted, "It would be a lie to say I didn't miss the world I experienced through several survival shows. If given the chance," expressing his fondness for survival competitions.

Previously, Choi Kang-rok appeared on JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' and addressed questions about wearing hats due to hair loss, humorously stating, "My nickname used to be 'Bald Eagle.'"
