Sho, a former member of the iconic K-pop group S.E.S., has hinted at a possible reconciliation with her husband, Im Hyo-sung.
On October 16, Sho's YouTube channel 'Human That's Sho' released a video titled 'Sho Goes to Guangzhou for Cosmetic Containers|Why S.E.S. Medley in China?'.
In the video, Sho travels to Guangzhou, China, as she prepares to launch a new cosmetics brand. She revealed, "I'm currently working on three major projects. One of them is creating and researching a cosmetics brand aimed at export. I'm visiting the Chinese cosmetic container market to find a unique concept not available in the market."
After exploring the Chinese container department store, Sho expressed her excitement, saying, "I feel a thrill in seeing and creating each piece. All the cosmetic cases from around the world are here. It was a fulfilling day."
Following a meal with acquaintances, Sho appeared on camera with a flushed face, admitting, "I'm drunk, please understand," indicating she was filming under the influence.
When a local interpreter requested an 'S.E.S. medley' at a karaoke session, Sho hesitated, saying, "Do I really have to sing an S.E.S. medley here in China? Do I have to dance here? I really don't want to sing my songs," but eventually picked up the microphone.
During her passionate rendition of 'Dreams Come True', subtitles revealed her inner thoughts, "I've been fighting with Im Hyo-sung and haven't been in contact for two months. Should I try reaching out again? Maybe he'll answer this time. Let me know in the comments how to reconcile with Hyo-sung," indicating her desire to mend the rift with her husband.
Recently, Sho confessed on YouTube, "My husband Im Hyo-sung blocked me. We argued over household matters, and when he blocked me, I changed the house password," revealing their ongoing discord. Sho was previously sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for two years, in 2019 for habitual gambling overseas, amounting to approximately 700 million won. Im Hyo-sung reportedly paid off 280 million won of Sho's gambling debt.
