G-DRAGON, the renowned K-pop artist, is set to reaffirm his status as a global icon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
On the 31st of this month, G-DRAGON will headline the 'K-SPARK in Malaysia 2026' K-POP music festival at the historic Stadium Merdeka, a symbol of Malaysian independence.
This performance marks G-DRAGON's third consecutive appearance as the main artist at 'K-SPARK', making it a significant event. Fans in Malaysia are eagerly anticipating his return, which comes approximately six months after his last visit during the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]'.
G-DRAGON has previously captivated audiences across Asia, creating a 'GD Syndrome'. His Bangkok concert sold out completely and topped social media trends, while his performance in Vietnam, despite unexpected heavy rain, was praised as 'the hottest night in Vietnam concert history' by local media. Expectations are high for his upcoming performance in Kuala Lumpur.
Before 'K-SPARK', G-DRAGON will perform at the 'Le Gala des Pieces jaunes', a prominent French charity event, on January 22nd at La Défense Arena in Paris. He is the first Korean artist to be invited for two consecutive years, showcasing his global influence. This journey from France to Malaysia marks the beginning of G-DRAGON's global activities in 2026.
Following his global performances, G-DRAGON will host his first solo fan meeting, '2026 G-DRAGON 'FAM' MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU]', from February 6th to 8th at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, meeting with fans for the first time since his debut.
