According to TENASIA's report on the 14th, it is expected that these five members will continue their activities with ZEROBASEONE, excluding Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, and Han Yu-jin, who are under YH Entertainment (formerly Yuehua).
Last month, WakeOne announced that ZEROBASEONE would extend their full group activities for two more months. On the 12th of this month, YH Entertainment expressed gratitude to fans for their support of Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, and Han Yu-jin, stating, "From the 12th, we will take time to prepare for future endeavors based on trust."
The agency added, "We are carefully reviewing various directions to allow the artists to fully showcase their capabilities and potential. Although there may not be much official news to share, we will do our best to greet you with a more mature and shining appearance." They also assured, "We will spare no effort to ensure the smooth progress of ZEROBASEONE's special activities and encore performances. We ask for your continued love and interest in the journey of the four artists moving forward."
TENASIA previously reported on October 31st last year that YH Entertainment's Yoo Seung-eon and Ji Yoon-seo from the group EVNNE, derived from Mnet's 'Boys Planet,' were unlikely to renew their contracts. Subsequently, Jellyfish Entertainment, managing EVNNE, announced on December 8th that Yoo Seung-eon and Ji Yoon-seo would leave the team, with Keita, Park Han-bin, Lee Jung-hyun, Moon Jung-hyun, and Park Ji-hoo continuing EVNNE activities. This precedent has sparked interest among fans regarding the future endeavors of ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Kyu-bin, and Han Yu-jin, along with Yoo Seung-eon and Ji Yoon-seo, as they return to YH Entertainment.
WakeOne told TENASIA that they are "discussing various possibilities for ZEROBASEONE's future activities, but nothing has been confirmed yet." However, other sources indicated that "just as EVNNE continued with five members after the departure of two YH Entertainment members, ZEROBASEONE is likely to continue team activities under WakeOne management after the YH Entertainment members are sorted out."
ZEROBASEONE is approaching the expiration of their nine-member full group activity contract in March. They are set to release a new album, 'Reflow,' approximately five months after their first full album, 'Never Say Never,' released last September. The album will be available in a special limited edition on various music sites at 6 PM on the 2nd of next month.
