Korean trot singer Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer people want to build a snowman with during the cold winter months.
The poll, conducted by TenAsia from the 22nd to the 28th, asked participants, 'Which female trot singer would you like to build a snowman with in the cold winter?'
Kim Eui-young secured the top spot. She made her official debut as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track, 'Do Whatever You Want', is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim Eui-young's refreshing charm.
Singer Kim Da-hyun took second place. She is set to hold her first solo concert in March next year. The nationwide tour, themed 'Dream', will kick off in Seoul, move to Busan and Daegu, and eventually reach Japan. Her agency stated, "Kim Da-hyun will welcome the busiest and most exciting new year since her debut through her solo concert," adding that "as 2026 is the Year of the Horse, she plans to continue her vigorous activities like a horse running across a green field starting in March."
Singer My Jin claimed the third spot. Recently, My Jin was honored as one of the TOP 10 at the 'Trot Champion Awards' held at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province. In the first 'Rising Battle', My Jin competed against Shin Seung-tae and Yoo Da-i. Additionally, on the December 3rd broadcast of MBN's 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show', she competed alongside Shin Seung-tae and Yoo Da-i. On that day, My Jin chose Kim Jung-min's 'Infinite Love' and demonstrated her explosive vocal power, securing a victory.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on themes such as 'Which male singer would you like to roast sweet potatoes with by the stove in the cold winter?', 'Which female singer would you like to roast sweet potatoes with by the stove in the cold winter?', 'Which male trot singer would you like to roast sweet potatoes with by the stove in the cold winter?', and 'Which female trot singer would you like to roast sweet potatoes with by the stove in the cold winter?'
