Wendy of Red Velvet has been voted as the number one female singer people want to build a snowman with this winter.
From November 22 to 28, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to build a snowman with this cold winter?' Wendy emerged as the top choice. Last month, on the 16th, she released 'Just One Word,' the second OST for the SBS drama 'Kiss Sixth Sense,' starring Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin. The OST features lyrical lines like 'Just one word to say you love me' and 'Now I know, I can feel it.' Earlier in April, Wendy transitioned to Ascend after her contract with SM Entertainment expired.
In second place is Girls' Generation's Yoona. This year, Yoona starred in the drama 'The Tyrant's Chef,' which achieved the highest ratings among mini-series aired this year. She also showcased her versatility with the film 'The Devil Came Home,' a global fan meeting tour, and a single release. On the 20th, Yoona held the final performance of 'The Tyrant's Chef' drama fan meeting at the Grand Auditorium of Seoul Women's University.
NewJeans' Minji secured the third spot. Last November, NewJeans announced the termination of their contract with ADOR due to a breach of contract, leading to independent activities. After a year-long legal battle, members Hae-rin and Hye-in returned to ADOR last month following discussions. On the 29th, ADOR announced Hani's return and Daniel's contract termination, while Minji is reportedly still in negotiations.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to roast sweet potatoes with by the stove this winter?' and similar questions for female singers and trot singers.
