On the YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment TV,' run by Nam Gyu-hong, the PD of SBS PLUS's 'I Am Solo,' a video titled '※Unreleased Footage※ 29th Season Young-chul Receives Advice from Sun-ja' was uploaded.
In the video, Sun-ja calls Young-chul over and asks, "Is this the first time I've asked you out on a date?" Young-chul admits that he hasn't had many conversations with the women by the second day. Reflecting on his past, Young-chul shares, "I often think about the mistakes I made when I was younger," and regrets making hasty judgments based on appearances.
Young-chul continues, "I spent a lot of time thinking about who I should approach," adding, "I came here because I didn't want to repeat the same mistakes. I felt excited when someone approached me." Sun-ja reveals, "There are two people I want to get to know better." Young-chul responds, "Initially, there was no one," explaining that he didn't want to make the same mistakes by judging based on appearances.
Sun-ja asks, "What do you look for in a woman?" Young-chul replies, "I pay a lot of attention to attitude and how they treat others." He then humorously adds, "I'm sorry for saying I'm like G-Dragon, but I'm a bit rebellious." Young-chul also mentions, "There's a lot of talk about treating others well, excluding romantic partners," and shares that he wouldn't mind if his partner helped another man with something like removing sesame leaves.
Young-chul elaborates, "Instead of arguing over something like removing sesame leaves, I would say, 'Did you not learn how to use chopsticks? If not, I'll teach you,'" suggesting a way to resolve issues without upsetting anyone, including his girlfriend. Sun-ja asks if he has many female friends, to which Young-chul responds, "I used to have many, especially friends from high school who were into sports and very pure. Most of them got married before me."
Meanwhile, Young-chul previously sparked interest by commenting on the Chanel bags of female participants. He stated, "I don't know the exact price, but a bag costs around 8 million won, which is two months' salary for someone earning 3 million won a month," expressing his belief that appearances aren't important.
