On the recent episode of tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' aired on the 31st, Yoo Jae-suk expressed his amazement at the common trait shared by the perfect scorers of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), Choi Jang-woo and Wang Jeong-geon.
During the show, both Choi and Wang, who achieved perfect scores on the CSAT, revealed their study secrets. Despite their different study methods, they shared a surprising commonality.
The common trait was reading. Host Yoo Jae-suk noted, "Both of them read a lot from a young age." Choi Jang-woo explained, "I read a lot of novels when I was young. I would imagine the scenes in my head as if they were happening, which helped me understand better."
Choi further elaborated, "I visualize the information as if watching a movie. When reading about parts, I imagine them being assembled and functioning. This habit of using imagination helped me understand quickly and was beneficial during the CSAT."
Wang Jeong-geon also shared his reading method, saying, "My teachers often told me not to read while walking. But since there was no time to read at school, I read while commuting." Yoo Jae-suk recalled seeing a student reading while walking near Seoul National University and was impressed.
Regarding study methods, Wang advised, "Instead of rushing through new material or increasing the number of problems, I recommend thoroughly reviewing and memorizing previously solved problems."
