Kim Nam-hee Wins Best Supporting Actor at 2025 MBC Drama Awards
Kim Nam-hee has been awarded the Best Supporting Actor at the '2025 MBC Drama Awards'.

The event took place on the evening of the 30th at the MBC Media Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, hosted by Kim Sung-joo and Lee Sun-bin. The Best Supporting Actor trophy was awarded to Kim Nam-hee for his role in 'The Moon Flows Over the River'.

In his acceptance speech, Kim Nam-hee expressed his surprise, saying, "I'm quite taken aback to receive this award. I'm grateful because the other nominees are so outstanding." He humbly added, "I think I received this as a kind of perfect attendance award for participating in many MBC projects, rather than for excelling in a particular work."

He shared his ongoing reflections, stating, "I constantly question why I should act and whether the profession of acting suits me." He continued, "I've been pondering whether bringing joy to people through acting is the right path, and what I should personally feel in the process." Kim candidly admitted, "Whether it's for earning money, seeking fame, or simply due to ambition, acting for those reasons doesn't bring me joy."

Kim Nam-hee further revealed, "I've just turned 40, and it's a time for me to find answers and decide whether to continue acting." He concluded with determination, "Thanks to this award, I feel like I've found a bit of clarity, and I'm resolved to work even harder in my acting career."
