Actor Lee Jong Suk has generously donated 100 million won to Seoul Asan Hospital.
Lee Jong Suk contributed 50 million won each to the hospital's development fund and the support fund for underprivileged patients, totaling 100 million won. His donation will be used to enhance the treatment environment for cancer patients by establishing advanced treatment systems and to support the medical and surgical expenses of patients from vulnerable groups.
Previously, in 2023, Lee Jong Suk donated 100 million won to the Seoul Asan Hospital Children's Hospital. He continued his charitable efforts by donating another 100 million won in 2024 for children and underprivileged patients, marking three consecutive years of heartfelt contributions through Seoul Asan Hospital.
Lee Jong Suk is known for his warm-hearted support, extending his help to various causes such as supporting young adults preparing for independence, the Korean Medical Association, and international relief and development NGOs. In March of this year, he donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to aid residents affected by wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam, actively supporting national disaster situations. Through his consistent charitable activities across diverse fields, Lee Jong Suk has once again spread positive influence, wrapping up the year on a warm note.
In 2022, he also donated 200 million won during the East Coast wildfire disaster and contributed another 100 million won in March for wildfire recovery efforts. His cumulative donations are reported to amount to 1.1 billion won.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk is spending the end of the year with fans through the 2025 LEE JONG SUK ASIA FANMEETING TOUR ‘With: Just Like This’. He is also set to return in 2026 with the Disney+ original series ‘The Queen of Remarriage’.
