Tzuyang Wins Popularity Award at 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards

Tzuyang, currently appearing on 'Omniscient Interfering View,' received the Popularity Award at the '2025 MBC Entertainment Awards.'

On the evening of the 29th, the '2025 MBC Entertainment Awards' took place at MBC in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, hosted by Jun Hyun-moo and Jang Do-yeon. The Popularity Award for women went to Tzuyang from 'Omniscient Interfering View.'

After sharing a hug with presenter Choi Hong-man and receiving her trophy, Tzuyang expressed, "I really didn't expect this. I prepared for my first awards ceremony, and I'm grateful for such a big award. Thank you to the 'Omniscient Interfering View' team and the kind team members." She added, "I'm about to reach 13 million subscribers on my YouTube channel, and I'm thankful for that."

Tzuyang continued, "I thought there were many difficult times in life, and I felt like I was going through something unbearable, but when I actually faced those moments, I realized I wanted to live. I worked incredibly hard because I wanted to live. It's because of all those moments that I could be here today," she said emotionally.

She added, "This precious moment might disappear, and more challenges may come, but I think I can live diligently with the memory of this moment." She concluded with a humorous note, mentioning curry and other foods, saying, "I dedicate this honor to those foods."

Meanwhile, Tzuyang previously revealed in a YouTube live broadcast in July last year that she had been subjected to assault and financial exploitation amounting to around 4 billion KRW over four years by her former agency CEO and ex-boyfriend, Mr. A. It was reported that due to an unfair contract, she did not receive settlement payments amounting to at least 4 billion KRW from Mr. A. She filed civil lawsuits for settlement payment claims, termination of her exclusive contract, and trademark application objections, along with criminal charges against Mr. A for habitual assault, threats, injury, extortion, coercion, and violations of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act. However, the case was closed without prosecution as Mr. A passed away during the proceedings.
