tvN's new drama 'Spring Fever' (directed by Park Won-guk, written by Kim Ah-jung, planned by CJ ENM STUDIOS, produced by Bon Factory) is a hot pink romance that promises to melt even the coldest hearts. It features high school teacher Yoon Bom (played by Lee Joo-been), who is as chilly as the winter wind, and Seon Jae-kyu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a man with a burning heart.
Lee Joo-been takes on the role of Yoon Bom, a high school teacher who sparks curiosity and intrigue among the townspeople. Explaining her decision to join the project, Lee Joo-been said, "When I received the script, I found it really interesting. I decided to join after hearing that Ahn Bo-hyun was cast as Seon Jae-kyu. I filmed with the expectation that only Ahn Bo-hyun could pull off this role."
Regarding her chemistry with co-star Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Joo-been expressed, "This is our first time working together, but his natural acting brought our chemistry to life. Ahn Bo-hyun is the king of ad-libs, and responding to his unexpected lines made our interactions feel natural."
Ahn Bo-hyun added, "When I imagined the character of Bom, seeing Lee Joo-been felt like she stepped right out of a magazine cover. Our interactions were enjoyable, and I think our chemistry will be evident on screen."
tvN's 'Spring Fever' is set to premiere on January 5, 2026, at 8:50 PM.
