Hyun Bin Reflects on Iconic Role and Celebrates Historic Blue Dragon Awards with Son Ye-jin

Hyun Bin recently shared his thoughts on his iconic role in 'My Lovely Sam Soon' during an appearance on the MBC variety show 'Omniscient Interfering View'.

On the December 27th episode, Hyun Bin, along with the cast of 'Made In Korea' including Jung Woo-sung, Roh Jae-won, Park Yong-woo, and Kang Gil-woo, visited Lee Young-ja's 'gamac'(a grocery store that sells beer).

The power couple, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, made history at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards by becoming the first couple to win Best Actor and Actress awards as well as the Popularity Award. Hyun Bin was honored for his role in 'Harbin', while Son Ye-jin received her award for 'No Other Choice'.

When asked how he felt seeing his wife on stage, Hyun Bin expressed his delight, showcasing his affectionate side. He didn't miss the chance to praise his wife, admitting that while he doesn't cook much at home, Son Ye-jin is an excellent cook. He shared that he recently enjoyed kimbap made with her grandmother's recipe.

The conversation turned to the 20-year-old drama 'My Lovely Sam Soon', which has been gaining renewed attention. Hyun Bin's character, Hyun Jin-heon, was criticized for his actions in the drama, which included a forceful kiss and being torn between his ex-girlfriend and a new love interest. Hyun Bin acknowledged the criticism, noting that his character's behavior doesn't align with today's standards.
