Lee Junho, the singer and actor, is set to transform once again in his latest role.
The Netflix series 'Cashero', set to premiere today (26th), follows the story of Sang-woong (played by Lee Junho), a salaried worker struggling with wedding and housing expenses. He gains a unique ability where his strength is proportional to the money he holds, leading to a life torn between daily expenses and superpowers.
Lee Junho portrays Sang-woong, an ordinary civil servant who suddenly inherits superpowers while saving for a new home. His powers come with a catch: using them depletes his money, putting him in a dilemma between his girlfriend Min-sook (played by Kim Hye-jun) and the world.
In this series, Lee Junho is expected to capture the complex emotions and relatable struggles of a hero balancing reality, delivering a performance that resonates with viewers. His signature action scenes are anticipated to add excitement to the show.
Lee Junho recently concluded the tvN series 'Taepung Sangsa', where he portrayed the growth of youth, resonating with audiences across generations. His portrayal, reminiscent of the 1990s, showcased his stable acting skills and character synchronization, earning him the title of a 'trustworthy actor' with both high ratings and buzz.
Following his success in MBC's 'The Red Sleeve', JTBC's 'King the Land', and 'Taepung Sangsa', Lee Junho recently won four awards, including the Grand Prize for Best Actor at the '10th Asia Artist Awards 2025'.
Additionally, Lee Junho will host the '2026 Lee Junho Fan Meeting ' on January 24th and 25th at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. Tickets for the fan club pre-sale sold out instantly, showcasing his unmatched ticket power and enduring popularity.
The Netflix series 'Cashero', featuring Lee Junho, will be available exclusively on Netflix at 5 PM on the 26th.
