Actress Ahn Eun-jin Sets New Record with 'Dynamite Kiss' Amidst Dramatic Plot Twists

Actress Ahn Eun-jin has set a new record with the drama 'Dynamite Kiss'.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 19th, the 12th episode of SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss' (written by Ha Yoon-ah, Tae Kyung-min/directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo/produced by Studio S, Samhwa Networks), which aired on the 18th, achieved a peak rating of 6.2% and a nationwide rating of 5.6%, continuing its streak as the number one weekday drama across all channels for six consecutive weeks.

In the 12th episode, aired on the 18th, characters Gong Ji-hyuk (played by Jang Ki-yong) and Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin) gave their all in both love and work. Just when they thought they were on the path to a happy future, an unexpected trial emerged.

Previously, Go Da-rim faced a crisis when Gong Ji-hye (played by Jung Ga-hee) brought a marriage certificate that threatened to expose her fraudulent employment. However, Gong Ji-hye decided to reveal Go Da-rim's fraudulent employment only when she could strike Gong Ji-hyuk harder. Although the immediate crisis seemed averted, Go Da-rim's guilt grew, fearing that her deceitful employment might have cost a truly qualified person their opportunity.

Ultimately, Go Da-rim submitted her resignation to Gong Ji-hyuk. However, Gong Ji-hyuk rejected it, explaining that Go Da-rim hadn't taken anyone's opportunity, as only those with the lowest scores in the recruitment evaluation were hired for the Mother TF team. From the start, Go Da-rim was the only one who didn't give up on the Mother TF team, and thanks to her, the team achieved numerous successes.

Gong Ji-hyuk took on a new product development project with the condition that the entire Mother TF team be hired as regular employees. In response, Go Da-rim decided to resign after the successful development of the new product for the sake of her team members. She bravely shared her story of fraudulent employment and her love for Gong Ji-hyuk with her team, who, understanding her sincerity, supported her work and love.

Gong Ji-hyuk embraced Go Da-rim, who had made a difficult confession, and reassured her, saying, "Don't run away anymore. I won't let you go," before kissing her. Confirming their deep love for each other, they spent a night together and continued to enjoy the happiness of a genuine relationship.

The Mother TF team worked tirelessly for several nights on the new product development, and the prototype was completed as planned. Just as the team was celebrating their achievement, shocking news arrived: a competitor had released a product identical to what the Mother TF team had developed.

At that moment, Gong Ji-hyuk's father, Gong Chang-ho (played by Choi Kwang-il), and Gong Ji-hye stormed into the Mother TF team. Enraged, Gong Chang-ho slapped Go Da-rim, asking, "Are you Go Da-rim?" Witnessing his father, whom he had despised all his life, strike the woman he loved, Gong Ji-hyuk's anger erupted. The episode ended with Gong Ji-hyuk's fiery gaze directed at his father.

Episode 12 heightened engagement by swiftly showcasing the dopamine-fueled romance of Gong Ji-hyuk and Go Da-rim, as well as the unprecedented trials they faced. The preview for episode 13 revealed Go Da-rim contemplating a breakup for Gong Ji-hyuk's sake, with Gong Ji-hyuk tearfully watching her.
