On the YouTube channel of KBS CoolFM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show,' a video titled 'Rising Master with All Day Project' was uploaded.
In the video, Park Myung-soo asked Annie, who is the granddaughter of Shinsegae's honorary chairman Lee Myung-hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae's Jung Yoo-kyung, "Being labeled as a rich family's daughter might be burdensome, but isn't it also a charm that can make you known?" Annie responded with a laid-back attitude, saying, "If it's a charm, then I guess it can be seen as one."
Park Myung-soo further inquired, "Do you buy 1+1 products at convenience stores?" Annie replied, "Of course, I do. Ice cream is always 1+1, and I bought a lot yesterday because it was 1+1." However, when asked if she gets discounts at department stores, Annie firmly stated, "No discounts at department stores," which brought laughter.
Regarding her earnings, Annie expressed, "I'm eagerly waiting," and added, "I haven't received my earnings yet, so I'm curious when it will happen." When Park Myung-soo mentioned his year-end schedule, saying, "I'm DJing in Dongdaemun," Annie showed concern, "It must be cold," to which Park jokingly replied, "Get me a discount at the department store so I can buy a jacket."
Park Myung-soo praised Annie, saying, "Your family might have opposed, but seeing you succeed is impressive. Are you happy now?" Annie affirmed, "Yes, there are challenges, but I'm happy to do what I want." She shared her joy in performing on stage, working with like-minded friends, and meeting fans. Annie, who trained for seven years, quickly gained public recognition, overcoming the 'chaebol idol' stereotype by achieving first place on a music show 11 days after debut and entering the Billboard charts within two weeks.
The All Day Project also revealed the story behind their group name. Annie explained that a senior from the co-ed group Black Eyed Pilseung visited The Black Label's office and commented, "These guys are All Day." However, since the name 'All Day' was already trademarked, they faced setbacks and added 'Project' to their name.
Annie expressed satisfaction, saying, "It actually rolls off the tongue well." Park Myung-soo humorously added, "If it was just All Day, it might have sounded like a cosmetics company," causing laughter.
All Day Project released their first EP on the 8th and is actively promoting their title track 'LOOK AT ME.'
Member Youngseo raised anticipation by announcing that Annie will co-host MBC's 'Gayo Daejejeon' with SHINee's Minho and singer Hwang Min-hyun on New Year's Eve. 'Gayo Daejejeon' will be broadcast live on the 31st.
