NCT's Doyoung and Jungwoo Begin Military Service: A New Chapter for the K-pop Stars

NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo are set to fulfill their mandatory military service.

On the 8th, both Doyoung and Jungwoo will enter the training camp together. They will undergo basic military training before serving as active-duty soldiers in the army.

Doyoung will serve as an active-duty soldier, while Jungwoo will join the army band. This follows the enlistment of fellow NCT members Taeyong, who joined the navy in April last year, and Jaehyun, who enlisted in the military band in November.

No special events will be held on the day of their enlistment. SM Entertainment, their agency, has requested fans to refrain from visiting the site to ensure safety, as it will be a gathering of many military personnel and their families.

The agency stated, "We ask for your unwavering love and support for Doyoung and Jungwoo as they diligently fulfill their military duties and return in good health."

Doyoung, born in 1996, is an active member of NCT, NCT 127, NCT U, and NCT DoJaeJung. Since his solo debut in April last year, he has been actively pursuing a solo career. Jungwoo, born in 1998, is also a member of NCT, NCT 127, NCT U, and NCT DoJaeJung. He recently released his first solo track, 'SUGAR,' on the 28th of last month, marking his debut as a solo artist.
