Comedian Park Na-rae Temporarily Halts Broadcast Activities Amid Legal Dispute with Former Managers

Comedian Park Na-rae has announced a temporary halt to her broadcasting activities.

On December 8, Park Na-rae shared on her social media, "As a comedian whose job is to bring laughter and joy, I have decided to suspend my broadcasting activities until everything is resolved, as I cannot continue to burden the programs and my colleagues."

Recently, Park Na-rae was sued by her former managers, who accused her of abusive behavior, including personal errands and verbal abuse for not drinking alcohol, as well as issues regarding payment for expenses.

In response, Park Na-rae's side has countersued, claiming the managers demanded 10% of the company's previous year's revenue, accusing them of extortion.

In her statement, Park Na-rae explained that the issues stemmed from misunderstandings with her former managers. She stated, "In early November, two managers who were like family suddenly resigned. We had no opportunity to discuss matters until recently, leading to misunderstandings."

She continued, "Thanks to everyone's help, I was able to meet with my former manager yesterday. While we were able to resolve our misunderstandings and distrust, I still believe everything is my fault and I am deeply reflecting on it."

Finally, Park Na-rae expressed, "I deeply apologize once again to everyone who has believed in and supported me."
