Lee Je-hoon Uncovers Truth in 15-Year-Old Murder Case on 'Taxi Driver 3'
Lee Je-hoon delves into a 15-year-old murder case without a body and uncovers the truth.

On the April 6th episode of SBS's 'Taxi Driver 3' (directed by Kang Bo-seung, written by Oh Sang-ho), Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) and the Rainbow Taxi team take a step closer to solving the long-standing mystery of Park Min-ho's (played by Lee Do-han) death, despite the statute of limitations and lack of evidence.

The episode revisits the case where suspect Lim Dong-hyun (played by Moon Soo-young) received only a five-month sentence due to the absence of a body. Park Min-ho's father, Park Dong-soo (played by Kim Ki-chun), who is losing his memory to Alzheimer's, expresses his frustration to Jang Sung-chul (played by Kim Eui-sung), saying, "I saw it. I saw it clearly. But I can't remember."

Kim Do-gi deduces that the accomplice in the volleyball team's locker room CCTV blind spot was Lim Dong-hyun's friend, Jo Sung-wook (played by Shin Joo-hwan). An Go-eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) also finds it suspicious that Jo Sung-wook, despite being a former professional volleyball player, has held a university coaching position for a long time without any notable achievements. Kim Do-gi senses that Jo Sung-wook is both paying and threatening Lim Dong-hyun.

Lim Dong-hyun, anxious after receiving messages in the name of the deceased Park Min-ho, confronts Jo Sung-wook, asking, "Are you sure Park Min-ho is buried for good?" Jo Sung-wook reassures and threatens him, saying, "I know Park Min-ho best. He can't contact you now, but even if something happens to you, I'll protect you to the end." Kim Do-gi overhears their entire conversation.

Kim Do-gi exploits Lim Dong-hyun's gambling addiction, initiating a revenge plan by saying, "Should I start with financial therapy?" He infiltrates the gambling scene frequented by Lim Dong-hyun and gambles alongside him. When Lim Dong-hyun leaves after receiving a phone call, Kim Do-gi follows him, suspecting a secret hidden at the gym he visits.

Meeting Lim Dong-hyun again at the gambling den, Kim Do-gi provokes him by betting large sums without checking his cards, leading Lim Dong-hyun to wager his gym as collateral. Ultimately, Kim Do-gi wins with a 'Gwang Ddaeng,' acquiring the gym. When Lim Dong-hyun protests, saying, "Isn't gambling money not supposed to be repaid?" Kim Do-gi retorts, "We can discuss it at the police station."

Later, Lim Dong-hyun pleads to borrow the gym's office for a day for Jo Sung-wook, and Kim Do-gi agrees for 20 million won, installing cameras throughout the office. Through the cameras, Kim Do-gi discovers Lim Dong-hyun entering a secret space in the office, revealing equipment used for match-fixing. The secret of Lim Dong-hyun and Jo Sung-wook's illegal match-fixing is unveiled.
