Actor Moo Jin-sung Expresses Desire to Star in Romance with IU
Actor Moo Jin-sung, who debuted in 2013, has expressed his desire to star in a romance drama with IU.

On the 4th, Moo Jin-sung, who appeared in the tvN drama 'Typhoon Company,' was interviewed at the TenAsia office in Jungnim-dong, Seoul.

'Typhoon Company,' which concluded on September 30, is a story set during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, following the growth of Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Junho), a novice businessman who becomes the president of a struggling trading company. Moo Jin-sung played the role of Byun Hyun-joon, a villain who envies Kang Tae-poong.

The final episode of 'Typhoon Company' achieved a nationwide household rating of 10.3%, peaking at 11.4% (according to Nielsen Korea). Regarding this, Moo Jin-sung said, "It was a 16-episode series, so I appreciate the audience's love until the end. I received a lot of negative comments for playing a villain, but it means my performance was impactful, so I'm pleased."

He also shared the effort he put into portraying the villainous character. Moo Jin-sung said, "There was a scene where emotions peaked with my on-screen father, played by Kim Sang-ho. We spent about an hour discussing with the director on how to convey the father-son love to the audience."

When asked about other genres or roles he wishes to explore, he replied, "I definitely want to try a romance. If I had to choose an actress to work with, it would be IU." He added, "I've been impressed by all of IU's works and hope to meet her in a melodrama," he said with a smile.
