G-Dragon Sparks Debate with Subway Photos During U.S. Visit
G-Dragon, the renowned K-pop artist, has stirred up a debate among netizens with photos uploaded during his visit to the United States.

On the 4th, an Instagram account, reportedly managed by G-Dragon's staff, shared several photos without any captions.

The photos show G-Dragon attending the 'Chanel 2026 Métiers d'Art Collection Show' in the U.S. Notably, he is seen posing while standing on a subway seat with his shoes on and sitting in a 'Priority Seating' area.

Some netizens criticized his actions, saying, "What is he doing on a foreign subway?" and "Even if the subway is empty, standing on seats with shoes is inappropriate."

However, other netizens defended him, suggesting, "The two people in the opposite car seem to be event staff, so he might have been allowed," "It looks like a temporary set at the event," and "G-Dragon surely knows better. In the U.S., people often wear shoes indoors."

Previously, on the 29th of last month, G-Dragon attended the '2025 MAMA Awards' in Hong Kong. During his performance of 'DRAMA,' 'Heartbreaker,' and 'Untitled, 2014,' his voice faltered during high notes, and he paused several times, with much of the performance relying on AR.

This led to a controversy over his performance skills. The following day, G-Dragon reacted by leaving a thumbs-down emoji on his performance video posted on the official MAMA account.
