According to Spotify's latest data on the 3rd, NewJeans' Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' and its title track of the same name have been streamed 200,128,884 times as of the 1st. This marks the 12th song by NewJeans to surpass 200 million streams.
'Supernatural' is a New Jack Swing-based track released in June last year. It topped major music charts in Japan shortly after its release and continued to perform well on both domestic and international charts.
The song was awarded the Outstanding Work Award at the 66th Japan Record Awards last year, being the only foreign artist's work included in that category.
Currently, NewJeans boasts a total of 15 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify. 'OMG' and 'Ditto' have surpassed 800 million streams, 'Super Shy' and 'Hype Boy' have over 700 million, 'Attention' has over 500 million, 'New Jeans' and 'ETA' have over 400 million, 'Cookie' has over 300 million, and 'Hurt', 'Cool With You', 'How Sweet', and 'Supernatural' have crossed the 200 million mark. 'ASAP', 'Get Up', and 'Bubble Gum' have each surpassed 100 million streams.
The cumulative number of streams for all of NewJeans' songs on Spotify exceeds 7 billion.
