BLACKPINK's Jennie Sets New Record with RIAA Certifications for Solo Album 'Ruby'
BLACKPINK's Jennie has set a new record for K-pop solo artists by adding another RIAA certification to her first solo studio album 'Ruby', featuring a track with Doechii.

On December 1st, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced on its official website that Jennie's pre-release track 'ExtraL' (feat. Doechii) has achieved Gold certification. With this certification, Jennie now holds a total of four RIAA certifications, marking the highest number for a K-pop solo artist.

Previously, Jennie received a Platinum certification for 'One Of The Girls', a collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, and Gold certifications for 'Mantra' and 'Like JENNIE'. With the Gold certification of the 'Ruby' track, all three songs from her debut studio album have now been RIAA certified.

RIAA certifications are awarded based on digital single and album sales, categorized into Gold (over 500,000 units), Platinum (over 1 million units), Multi-Platinum (over 2 million units), and Diamond (over 10 million units).
