Following Stray Kids' LEE KNOW, i-dle's Minnie has also sustained an ankle injury at the '2025 MAMA Awards'.
Minnie revealed her injury on the fan platform bubble on November 30th. She shared, "I noticed fans were worried seeing me limp, so I wanted to let you know." She continued, "After returning to Korea, I got an X-ray, and it turns out I have a ligament injury causing inflammation. I've hurt the same spot before, so it feels worse this time." Minnie reassured fans by saying, "Fortunately, my bones are fine, and with some rest, I'll recover quickly. Please don't worry."
Regarding how she got injured, Minnie explained, "During rehearsal, one of my shoes came off, and I finished the rehearsal like that. Afterward, I went to find my shoe and tripped while going down the stairs, twisting my ankle completely." She added, "I was in Hong Kong and had to perform, so I thought, 'Just endure for five minutes.' I'll recover soon and show you an even better performance."
Minnie attended the 'MAMA Awards' with her group i-dle on November 28th and 29th at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, where they won the 'Fans' Choice Female Top 10' award.
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment announced on November 30th that Stray Kids' LEE KNOW also suffered an ankle injury during the '2025 MAMA Awards' on November 29th. The agency stated, "He received immediate treatment locally and underwent necessary examinations and treatment upon returning to Korea."
