Stray Kids Wins 'Album of the Year' at 2025 MAMA Awards

Stray Kids has taken home the 'Album of the Year' award at the 2025 MAMA Awards.

The prestigious event took place on the 29th at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.

Singer Shin Seung-hun, who presented the award, expressed his condolences, saying, "I have heard heartbreaking news. I wish for peace for those who have sadly passed and a swift recovery for those who are injured. I want to extend my condolences to those who have lost loved ones and their daily lives." He added, "Music has the power to heal wounds. I hope we can move forward together for a better future and that the light of hope will shine again."

The 'Album of the Year' award is given to the work that has received the most love throughout the year. This marks the first time Stray Kids has received a grand prize at the MAMA Awards.

The award was accepted by Stray Kids, whose members took to the stage visibly emotional. Leader Bang Chan expressed his disbelief, saying, "I still can't believe we received such a big award at the 'MAMA' ceremony, which I have watched on TV since my trainee days and always wanted to be a part of." He added, "I want to tell our members that they have worked hard."

Bang Chan continued, "We have comforted and understood each other through many experiences, and we are happy to share our beloved music and performances with so many people around the world." He concluded by saying, "This makes me want to work even harder in the future."
