The K-pop group IVE has extended their heartfelt condolences and joined in relief efforts following the tragic fire incident in Hong Kong.
On the 28th, IVE shared on Weibo, "We are deeply saddened and pained to hear about the devastating fire accident in Hong Kong that has affected many lives." They continued, "In these difficult times, we cautiously extend our condolences and have donated 500,000 Hong Kong dollars to the Hong Kong Red Cross for emergency rescue and disaster recovery."
The members also added, "We hope to offer our support, however small, and sincerely wish for everyone's peace," expressing their deep sympathy to the victims and their families. The donation from IVE will be used for local relief efforts and recovery from the disaster.
From the 28th to the 29th, the '2025 MAMA Awards' will be held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium. IVE is set to perform on the first day, the 28th. Other performers on the same day include Alphadriveone, Babymonster, Boynextdoor, Beomjeop, Enhypen, Heartstohearts, (G)I-DLE, Miyao, Mirror, NCT Wish, Super Junior, Treasure, and Tours. The second day will feature performances by Aespa, Allday Project, Cortis, G-Dragon, Idit, Izna, JO1, Kickflip, Kyoka, Rise, Stray Kids, Tomorrow X Together, and Zerobaseone.
