'Future's Future' is a drama that resonates with the MZ generation, depicting the coming-of-age journey of youth. It follows Gong Mi-rae (played by Kwon Na-yeon), who, after experiencing her first love's betrayal, embarks on a revenge project with her film club friends, 'Popcorn Angle', to find her true self. Kim Dong-hyun's character, Lee Hyun-jae, is Mi-rae's best friend who has harbored feelings for her since they were 14, sharing their high school, college, and club experiences.
On the 25th, U+ Mobile TV released a teaser featuring Lee Hyun-jae, where Kim Dong-hyun portrays a charming and fresh college student who stays by Gong Mi-rae's side, heightening global fans' anticipation.
On the 24th, during a production presentation held at a hotel in Sangam, Kim Dong-hyun discussed his character and the project, greeting viewers. He expressed, "I'm grateful and excited to return with a new project after a long time," adding, "Through 'Future's Future', I hope to quench my thirst for acting and show an improved performance."
Kim Dong-hyun began his acting career with the 2021 web drama 'Somehow Convenience Store' and SBS's 'Let Me Be Your Knight'. He is set to star in the 2024 drama 'Raising a Hikikomori Chaebol', building a solid filmography and raising expectations for his future endeavors.

Q. How would you define the character of Lee Hyun-jae in this project?
I think he's a character that defines the emotion of 'unrequited love'.
Q. Can you explain any similarities or differences between Lee Hyun-jae and yourself?
We both have a knack for understanding people's moods and approaching them, but the difference is that Hyun-jae is a bit more straightforward than I am.
Q. Playing a friend who has feelings for 'Gong Mi-rae' must have been challenging. What did you focus on during your performance?
I worked hard to find a balance between expressing affection for someone you like and for a friend, putting sincerity into my acting.
Q. After starring in 'Raising a Hikikomori Chaebol' last year, how did you feel about your growth while filming this drama?
I still have a lot to improve on, but I feel a bit more relaxed on set than before. This newfound ease allows me to focus more on the character I need to portray each day.
Q. What do you hope viewers will feel when they see the character 'Lee Hyun-jae'?
I hope they can relive the various emotions from their school days, whether it's themselves or someone else, and embark on a nostalgic journey.
