'Dynamite Kiss' Climbs Netflix Global Rankings and Captivates Viewers with Intense Romance

SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss' has made a remarkable debut, securing the 3rd spot on Netflix's global rankings. The show has also achieved its highest viewership ratings for two consecutive episodes, claiming the top spot among weekday mini-series.

The fourth episode, aired on the 20th, left a lasting impression with its intense ending. In a dramatic turn of events, Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin) is kidnapped by loan sharks due to her brother's debt. Gong Ji-hyuk, portrayed as a superhero, comes to her rescue, humorously waving a black card and asking, "How much?"

On the 25th, the production team released a sneak peek of Gong Ji-hyuk and Go Da-rim's scene following the intense ending of episode 4, just a day before the airing of episode 5. Gong Ji-hyuk is seen bending down to untie Go Da-rim and then lifting her in a princess carry, walking away with ease.

The production team also teased a major spoiler: Gong Ji-hyuk declares to Go Da-rim, "You belong to me!" This bold statement comes after he has been hiding his feelings for her, having initially misunderstood her as a married woman with a child after their intense first kiss.

The producers stated, "In episode 5, airing tomorrow (26th), the mutual yet unspoken romance between Gong Ji-hyuk and Go Da-rim will intensify. Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin will portray the irresistible attraction between the two characters, capturing their emotions in a charming and sometimes tense manner, enhancing viewer engagement. We hope for your continued interest and anticipation."

'Dynamite Kiss' episode 5 will air on the 26th at 9 PM.
