Baek Ji-young, the renowned South Korean singer, recently shared her reasons for avoiding a visit to the gynecologist on the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' where she appeared as a special MC on the episode aired on the 23rd.
During the show, Baek Ji-young revealed, "My biggest concern these days is menopause. I've been regularly purchasing menopause kits for testing," which surprised many. She explained, "One night, I was sweating excessively while sleeping. I became sensitive to small things and felt extremely fatigued."
Born in 1976, Baek Ji-young expressed her hesitation about visiting the gynecologist for these tests, fearing it might spark pregnancy rumors.
After using a menopause kit recommended by a friend, she found out she wasn't experiencing menopause. "Since then, I sweat less and don't get angry as easily. I feel lighter," she smiled.
Baek Ji-young and her husband Jung Suk-won's 9-year-old daughter, Ha-im, attends the same class as the daughters of Kim Tae-hee and Jung Ji-hoon, as well as model Jang Yoon-ju, at the 'GIA (Grace International Academy)' in Gangnam.
Baek Ji-young shared a humorous story about a school sports day where Jung Suk-won and Jung Ji-hoon participated in a parents' tug-of-war. "Other parents were nervous. They were in the same team, along with Jang Yoon-ju's husband, who also has a great physique," she explained.
"The pressure on those three was immense. They strategized for the kids' sports day. I heard Ji-hoon ended up with scraped arms, but they won," she recounted. "Despite the younger parents, the trio's determination and passion led to victory."
Shin Dong-yup humorously suggested, "If Jang-hoon remarries and has a child, imagine him at a sports day," to which Seo Jang-hoon replied, "Basketball or not, at my age... just imagining it is dizzying," eliciting laughter.
