Kim Woo-bin expressed his discontent on the show 'Kong Kong Pang Pang'.
On the October 21st episode of tvN's variety show 'Kong Kong Pang Pang', viewers were treated to the adventures of Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Do Kyung-soo during their trip to Mexico.
During the episode, Kim Woo-bin was seen taking a roll of toilet paper as he left their Cancun accommodation. He explained, "We need to save every penny. You never know when an emergency might arise."
Lee Kwang-soo humorously added, "I'm planning to lay it out in the car like a pee pad," and requested, "If I suddenly turn on the emergency lights and pull over, please turn off all the cameras," bringing laughter to the set.
With a tight budget, the trio entered a fast-food restaurant. When Lee Kwang-soo showed interest in the menu, Do Kyung-soo reminded him, "We're here because we don't have money." Lee Kwang-soo expressed his discomfort, saying, "I really hate having to worry about this."
While Kim Woo-bin stepped away, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo attempted to place an additional order but failed. Witnessing this, Kim Woo-bin ended up paying, adding a heartwarming touch to the scene.
While waiting for their food, Kim Woo-bin shared, "I received 11 lottery tickets and earned 32 won," sharing his 'lottery win' news. He also triumphed in guessing the genre of the 'number one song in Mexico' while in the car.
Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo received a response from Ko Joong-seok, the CEO of Egg is Coming, regarding a 'special expense request form'. The result was 'rejected'.
CEO Ko Joong-seok pointed out, "The request form must be based on the six principles of journalism," advising to write based on facts rather than emotions. He further criticized, "Choosing a poor accommodation was a decision made by Representative Lee Kwang-soo," implying that his decision caused hardship for the production team.
Lee Kwang-soo couldn't hide his disappointment, asking, "Did he take this as a real situation? Why is he speaking so harshly? Is he scolding me now?"
He continued, "It felt too business-like, which was disappointing. I thought we had developed some sort of relationship as a partner company, but I didn't expect them to be so cold. They said, 'I didn't tell you to go to that bad accommodation,' but we went there to save costs, not because we liked it."
Wiping away tears, Kim Woo-bin added, "Why am I tearing up? I feel hurt." However, Do Kyung-soo shared his perspective, "I think CEO Ko is right because he likes accuracy. But as employees, we have to work hard."
Meanwhile, Kim Woo-bin is set to marry actress Shin Min-a on December 20th, after 10 years of dating.
