Rising Stars &TEAM to Make Debut Appearance at Japan's Prestigious 'Kohaku Uta Gassen'

&TEAM, the dynamic group, is set to make their debut appearance at Japan's renowned year-end music program, 'Kohaku Uta Gassen'.

On the 14th, &TEAM members EJ, Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki attended the press conference for the '76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen' held at the NHK Broadcasting Center in Tokyo. During the event, &TEAM expressed their excitement, stating, "It's an honor to perform at 'Kohaku Uta Gassen', one of our goals. We will do our best to reach the hearts of our fans who have supported us for three years since our debut."

'Kohaku Uta Gassen', broadcast annually on December 31st by NHK, is a symbolic stage in Japan where the most beloved artists of the year are invited. It holds unparalleled influence in terms of viewership and buzz, and being invited is a testament to an artist's popularity in Japan.

This year, &TEAM achieved remarkable success. Their third single, 'Go in Blind', surpassed 1 million shipments, earning a 'Million' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan as of July 2025. Additionally, they topped both the 'Weekly Combined Single Ranking' and 'Weekly Single Ranking' on the Oricon charts (as of May 5th), achieving a double crown. The points they garnered were the highest among male artists this year.

Their Korean debut album 'Back to Life' also recorded cumulative sales of 1,222,022 copies in its first week (October 28th to November 3rd), dominating major music charts in both Korea and Japan. Despite being a Korean album, 'Back to Life' received a 'Double Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan as of October. With this, &TEAM has had all their physical albums certified by the association since their debut.

Starting in Japan in 2022, &TEAM has consistently grown, establishing themselves as global artists. Last year, they released a total of four albums and appeared on Japanese TV programs over 300 times, showcasing their active presence. Thanks to these efforts, &TEAM ranked first in Oricon's 'K-pop·Global Group Awareness Survey' announced in May 2025.

Last month, &TEAM concluded their first Asia tour. Performances in major Asian cities such as Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, Taipei, Hyogo, and Hong Kong were all sold out, attracting a total of over 160,000 fans.
