Kang Tae-oh's latest drama, 'The Moon Flows Over the River,' is off to a promising start with ratings in the 3% range. This is a significant improvement for MBC's Friday-Saturday drama lineup, which previously saw shows like 'Bunny and the Brothers,' 'Mary Kills People,' and 'Let's Go to the Moon' only achieving 1-2% ratings.
In the third episode of MBC's 'The Moon Flows Over the River' (written by Jo Seung-hee, directed by Lee Dong-hyun, planned by Kwon Sung-chang, produced by High Zium Studio), Crown Prince Lee Kang (played by Kang Tae-oh) and Prince Lee Woon (played by Lee Shin-young) join forces to save Park Dal (played by Kim Se-jeong), who has been falsely accused.
In the previous episode, Park Dal, with Lee Kang's help, managed to save the daughter of Heo Young-gam (played by Choi Deok-moon) from a manipulated chastity gate incident. However, the in-laws of Heo Young-gam's daughter, holding a grudge, framed Park Dal as a thief to seek revenge.
Dragged to the tribunal, Park Dal faced severe punishment for allegedly violating the merchant ethics code, including the threat of having her hair cut. However, the sudden appearance of Lee Kang halted the execution.
The released photos capture Lee Kang's heroic entrance alongside Left Guard Oh Shin-won (played by Kwon Joo-seok) and Eunuch Yoon Se-dol (played by Han Sang-jo). His intense gaze as he approaches the endangered Park Dal, reminiscent of the late Crown Princess, exudes an undeniable charisma.
Prince Lee Woon also joins the rescue mission. Unlike Lee Kang, Lee Woon appears with a relaxed smile and is expected to present crucial evidence proving Park Dal's innocence, heightening curiosity. How did they learn of Park Dal's plight, and what will become of her as she stands bound with a desperate expression?
Find out in the third episode of MBC's 'The Moon Flows Over the River,' airing on the 14th at 9:40 PM.
