K-pop singer Sung Si-kyung has resumed his YouTube activities.
On October 10, a new video was uploaded to his YouTube channel 'Sung Si-kyung's Eating Show.' This marks his first video in ten days since his last upload on September 30.
Recently, it was revealed that Sung Si-kyung suffered financial losses after being betrayed by his manager of over ten years. On October 4, he announced on his YouTube channel, "I will take a break from YouTube this week. Sorry."
Ahead of his return, Sung Si-kyung promised active engagement, stating, "This week, there will be three YouTube videos: 'Eating Show,' a recipe, and a versatile sauce introduced at the Japan concert."
In the latest video, Sung Si-kyung visited a restaurant in Apgujeong. Offering a drink to someone off-camera, he mentioned, "A new editor has joined us. They want to showcase their skills on 'Eating Show.'"
Sung Si-kyung faced a challenging period after being betrayed by his long-time manager. It was reported that Sung Si-kyung covered approximately 100 million KRW for the manager's wedding expenses last year. His agency, SK Jaewon, confirmed, "The former manager committed acts of betrayal during their tenure. We are currently investigating the exact scale of the damages."
Through his social media, Sung Si-kyung expressed, "The past few months have been incredibly tough. Being betrayed by someone I trusted like family has happened multiple times in my 25-year career, but it never gets easier."
Despite the pain, Sung Si-kyung continues to perform. He is set to hold a concert titled '2025 Sung Si-kyung Year-End Concert' from December 25 to 28 at the KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul.
