BAE173's Doha Faces Legal Dispute: Japanese Management Urges Return

BAE173 member Doha (21, real name Na Gyu-min) has announced a halt to his team activities, prompting a response from the group's Japanese management company urging his return.

브로시스, the Japanese management company for BAE173, released an official statement on the 8th, expressing concerns over the direct impact on their ongoing business in Japan due to Doha's recent lawsuit and application for suspension of his exclusive contract. They stated, "We are receiving notifications of contractual disadvantages from local partners and performance-related companies due to the breach of trust."

브로시스 further stated, "We recognize the situation as serious and plan to take legal action to protect our contractual rights." They addressed Doha, acknowledging that as a young newcomer, mistakes can happen, but urged him to avoid further disruptions to Japanese performances and schedules. They also advised him to stop actions that harm other members and to make a wise decision to return to the team amicably, fulfilling his responsibilities as an artist.

Doha recently filed a lawsuit against his agency, PocketDol Studio, seeking confirmation of the non-existence of his exclusive contract and an application for suspension of its effect, citing financial difficulties, settlement issues, and a breakdown in trust. In response, the agency announced in September that Doha would halt activities due to health reasons.

On the 6th, Doha took to Instagram, expressing his disappointment, "I hoped to greet you again on stage with the group I first joined, but there was too much unfairness to bear." He claimed that due to the company's unilateral decision, he could not continue with scheduled activities.

Doha hinted at leaving the team, stating, "After much deliberation, I made a decision I had to make. I feel heavy-hearted to say goodbye in such a regrettable way and apologize for not concluding things perfectly." He added, "I hope my situation does not burden the steps of the other members."

브로시스, in their full statement, apologized to fans for the concern caused and emphasized their commitment to managing BAE173's activities in Japan for the past five years. They assured that the group's Japanese tour and performance schedule would proceed as planned, with other members diligently fulfilling their commitments to fans.

브로시스 pledged to continue working with PocketDol Studio and local partners to ensure stable activities without confusion for fans.

Thank you.
