Yano Shiho, wife of martial artist Choo Sung-hoon, expressed her hopes for their daughter Sarang to pursue a modeling career.
On the 7th, Yano Shiho's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'Walking the Runway After 15 Years (Sarang is Watching)'.
In the video, Yano Shiho returned to the runway after 15 years. While fitting her outfit, she confidently stated, "I will make them feel they made the right choice by selecting me."
Having previously worked as a model in Japan, Yano Shiho shared, "This is my first runway in Korea," adding, "I practiced at home, and my sister helped me." When asked if her husband Choo Sung-hoon would attend, she expressed disappointment, saying, "Choo has to go to Japan today."
Yano Shiho, who admitted to feeling "excited rather than nervous," expressed gratitude, saying, "I am 50 years old this year. There are no models my age around. I am thankful to the designer." Before the rehearsal, she was humorously reminded not to smile.
Yano Shiho mentioned, "Sarang wanted to attend a volleyball match over the weekend. We cheered her up by having a meal with her dad." Sarang, along with her 'Korean aunt' actress Lee Seo-an, supported her mother's runway debut.
After the show, Yano Shiho shared, "I had no time to spare. I don't remember anything. I didn't even see Sarang." She caught attention by telling Sarang to take off her glasses while taking a photo together.
When asked by the production team which was cooler, her father's martial arts or her mother's modeling, Sarang replied, "Both are cool." When asked if she wanted to walk the runway, Sarang shook her head.
Yano Shiho humorously encouraged her daughter, saying, "I hope Sarang walks the runway. I only did Korea and Japan, but I want Sarang to go to New York, Paris, and Milan. I want to see that. I couldn't do it, so do it for me. I hope Sarang walks in a Chanel show. And Louis Vuitton too."
Sarang, who claimed she doesn't have a favorite Korean celebrity, showed her fandom when Yano Shiho mentioned that Rosé from BLACKPINK invited her to their Tokyo concert.
