On the latest episode of MBC's variety show 'Rural Village Lee Jang-woo 2,' aired on the 4th, Lee Jang-woo showcased a delightful spread of delicacies from Ganghwa Island.
In this episode, Lee Jang-woo and his fiancée, Jo Hye-won, shared a cozy, newlywed-like atmosphere as Jo filmed Lee developing a sweet potato pancake recipe.
After tasting the pancakes, Jo playfully suggested, "Should I get some makgeolli?" to which Lee affectionately replied, "We can't drink; this is for the show."
Impressed by Lee's culinary skills, Jo contributed her own recipe ideas, and Lee, in turn, suggested they share the dish with her mother, showcasing his thoughtful side.
Jo affectionately called Lee "honey" and expressed her desire to visit Ganghwa Island with him, teasing him for going to fun places alone.
Later, Lee invited Park Na-rae to taste his Ganghwa Island dishes. Park recalled a recent meeting with the couple and teased Lee about not having proposed yet, sharing that she had asked Jo about her bucket list.
Park humorously mentioned Lee's unconventional honeymoon idea of a month-long U.S. road trip in a camper van, contrasting it with the typical romantic getaway. Lee admitted he dropped the idea after Park's comments.
Promising to help with the proposal, Park raised anticipation as Lee revealed his plans to propose.
Kim Dae-ho asked Lee about his wedding preparations, comparing them to the challenges of farming. Lee candidly replied that while wedding planning is ongoing, farming is more demanding.
During a visit to Gyodong Island residents, Lee jokingly mentioned bringing a child to a future festival, leading to a humorous misunderstanding about a potential pre-marital pregnancy, which he quickly clarified as a slip of the tongue.
Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won are set to tie the knot on November 23rd.
