K-Pop Star Lee Chan-won Achieves Career High with Second Studio Album 'Challan'
K-pop sensation Lee Chan-won has reached a career high with his second studio album, 'Challan'.

Last month, Lee Chan-won released his second full-length album, 'Challan', which quickly climbed to the top of the music charts. The album's initial sales surpassed 610,000 copies, setting a new personal record for the artist. The title track, 'Today Somehow', secured the number one spot on popular music shows such as MBC's 'Show! Music Core' and SBS's 'Inkigayo'.

'Today Somehow' is a bright country-pop track, co-created by composer Jo Young-soo and singer Roy Kim. This marks Lee Chan-won's first foray into this genre, drawing attention for his lively vocals that enhance the song's charm.

Lee Chan-won showcased his stable live performances on the Dingo Music YouTube channel and various music shows, earning praise for his refreshing departure from his usual trot-centric music.

While his previous mini-album 'bright;燦' highlighted his singer-songwriter skills with the self-composed track 'Sky Travel', the new album explores a range of genres, including the pop ballads 'Mother's Spring Day' and 'Don't Leave Me', as well as the jazz and blues-inspired 'Shining Star'.

With his first studio album 'ONE', mini-album 'bright;燦', and now 'Challan', Lee Chan-won has achieved the remarkable feat of three consecutive half-million sellers. He continues his promotional activities with an appearance on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' airing on the 8th at 9 PM.
