Ga Sung-ho had been hiding in a secret space within his mansion, faking his death by gunshot to witness the end of his revenge plan. While Lee Don (played by Seo Hyun-woo) was aware of this, Kim Young-ran, who was involved in Ga Sung-ho's revenge, felt betrayed and enraged upon learning of their plan.

To empower Kim Young-ran against Ga Sun-young, Ga Sung-ho decided to pass on his wealth and the chairman position of Ga-sung Group to her. Sharing the same goal of punishing Ga Sun-young for harming innocent people and clearing Jeon Dong-min's (played by Jin-young) name, Kim Young-ran agreed to become the heir of Ga-sung Group.

While Kim Young-ran, Ga Sung-ho, and Lee Don prepared to take down Ga Sun-young, Ga Sun-young was ready to pin all her wrongdoings on Kim Young-ran. She planned to dispose of the body of her hitman, Gil Ho-se (played by Yang Kyung-won), and manipulate the media to send Jeon Dong-min to prison.

Kim Young-ran and Lee Don, aware of Ga Sun-young's plan, secured Gil Ho-se's body, which was to be incinerated as an unclaimed corpse, and requested a thorough autopsy to counterattack. With testimonies from the residents of Muchang Village and the victim Baek Hye-ji (played by Joo Hyun-young), who was attacked by Gil Ho-se, Jeon Dong-min was able to clear his name.

With the help of reporter Pyo Seung-hee (played by Park Jung-hwa), who has ties with Lee Don and a grudge against Ga Sun-young, Ga Sun-young's past misdeeds were exposed to the world, putting her on the defensive. Although her close aide Secretary Ham (played by Kim Young-sung) was arrested by the police, Ga Sun-young's connections began to sever, diminishing her influence.

The situation took a turn when Choi Butler (played by Kim Jae-hwa), a spy planted by Ga Sun-young, encountered Chairman Ga Sung-ho in the Ga-sung Group mansion. Recently, Ga Sung-ho has been showing signs of dementia due to drug side effects. Unaware of being discovered by Choi Butler, he inadvertently called Ga Sun-young, heightening the tension.

Realizing Ga Sung-ho is alive, Ga Sun-young heads to the Ga-sung Group mansion to confirm it herself. Unaware of Ga Sun-young's presence, Ga Sung-ho remains lost in memories of his deceased daughter. As Ga Sun-young's sinister smile heightens the suspense, the climax of this life-reset project leaves viewers eager to see if Kim Young-ran can stop Ga Sun-young and protect Ga Sung-ho.
