In the drama, Kim Woo-ju, played by Choi Woo-shik, is the only heir to Korea's first bakery, Myungsundang. In episode 7, Yoo Mary, played by Jung So-min, discovers that Woo-ju is the heir to Myungsundang and that he was the boy her father saved when they were children. Woo-ju confesses his genuine feelings to Mary, revealing that he helped her because he liked her, and they confirm their love with a heartfelt kiss.

Now, as Woo-ju and Mary celebrate their first day of dating, they make a speedy entrance into Mary's family home in Yeosu, showcasing their fast-paced romance. The scene of Mary’s mother, Oh Young-sook, played by Yoon Bok-in, sitting with them at the table, humorously portrays the welcoming of a future son-in-law.

In the released stills, Woo-ju exudes the charm of a warm and affectionate future son-in-law with his gentle gaze and bright smile in front of Young-sook. His polite demeanor, with hands neatly folded and attentively listening to Young-sook, conveys his affection for Mary's family.

The table is laden with food, symbolizing Young-sook's fondness for her prospective son-in-law. The highlight is the samgyetang made with a hen, traditionally prepared when a son-in-law visits. Young-sook demonstrates her affection by serving Woo-ju a generous portion, embodying the saying, 'A mother-in-law's love is for her son-in-law.'

Mary, sitting next to Woo-ju, catches the eye. Unlike Woo-ju in formal attire, Mary is in comfortable home wear, avoiding her mother's barrage of nagging, while Woo-ju smiles subtly. The affectionate dialect exchange between Mary and Young-sook seems to echo in the air, adding humor and sparking curiosity about the conversations that will unfold.

The heart-fluttering romance of Woo-ju and Mary, who have confirmed their feelings for each other, can be seen in episode 8 of 'Wooju Marry Me', airing tonight at 9:50 PM.
