Lee Chan-won Charms with Dialect on 'Immortal Songs' Special
Lee Chan-won showcased his charm by speaking in his hometown dialect when he met fellow musicians from his region.

On the episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs' that aired on the evening of the 1st, a special titled '2025 Youth Microphone' was featured.

During this special, Poppin Hyun Joon and Park Ae-ri performed with the traditional performance team SunB. Notably, Shin Young-sook collaborated with the vocal group Goms Company to perform Cho Yong-pil's 'Song of the Wind', while Jung Dong-ha and the jazz band Soul Band chose Shin Joong-hyun and the Yup Juns' 'Beautiful Woman'.

Additionally, the Yuk Joong-wan Band and female duo YeinDul performed Travel Sketch's 'Isn't Life Just Like That', Kim Junsu and the traditional music band SoriMapsi performed Kim Soo-chul's 'A Flower That Couldn't Bloom', and ONEWE with singer-songwriter Horun performed Lee Seung-chul's 'Amateur'.

In this episode, Lee Chan-won praised the beauty and talent of the same-age singer-songwriter duo YeinDul and burst into laughter when he met the Daegu-based musician team Goms Company, immediately speaking in his hometown dialect.

YeinDul expressed their joy about appearing on 'Immortal Songs', saying, "It was so wonderful to bring joy to our families." In particular, Lee Jae-in shared, "I was so happy that I cried with my family," adding, "Seeing my mom and dad cry made me happy too, and I hope to be a source of pride for them," leaving a heartfelt video message that warmed the studio.

College classmates and close friends, YeinDul showcased their strong bond. Song Ye-rin revealed, "We are so close that we didn't want to be apart," explaining, "Jae-in lives in Daejeon, so I moved from Seoul to Daejeon to form the team." After their performance, Yuk Joong-wan praised YeinDul, saying, "Their musical spectrum is so broad that they contributed more ideas during rehearsals, and we were led by them. In fact, we are just a device to make YeinDul shine," to which Shin Dong-yup responded, "Then it's a huge success," adding, "They truly stood out."

The musical diva Shin Young-sook introduced the team Goms Company, with whom she would collaborate on stage. She described Goms Company as "a talented musician team representing Daegu." Upon hearing this, Lee Chan-won, a Daegu native, excitedly greeted them in his authentic dialect, saying, "Are you from Daegu? I'm from Seongseo," causing everyone to burst into laughter.
