UNIS, Kim Sejeong, BLACKPINK, IVE, fromis_9, NiziU, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, IU, and aespa have been selected as the stars of TENASIA Artist Top Ten's October 'K-Pop Girl Brand'.
In October, TENASIA conducted a global voting service, dividing categories into K-Pop Boy Brand, K-Pop Girl Brand, and Hot Genre Brand.
As a result of the voting, UNIS claimed the top spot in the K-Pop Girl Brand category. UNIS released their first Japanese digital single 'Moshimoshi♡' on the 12th of last month. The new song 'Moshimoshi♡' charmingly expresses the excitement of falling in love, with a message of wanting to convey the 'voice of the heart'. UNIS also performed at the 'ATA Festival 2025 (2025 Asia Top Artist Festival)' held at the Youth Square in Hangang Nanji Park, Sangam-dong, Seoul, on the 28th of last month.
Singer Kim Sejeong took second place. After debuting with the girl group I.O.I in 2016, Kim Sejeong established her solo career with hits like 'Flower Way' and 'Warning'. She has also been active in musicals and theater. Kim Sejeong is set to star in the new MBC drama 'Moon River' alongside Kang Tae-oh. At the production presentation held at the Golden Mouse Hall in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 30th, she revealed that she received advice from actress Ha Ji-won to portray a character whose soul changes.
BLACKPINK secured the third spot. They are currently on their world tour 'DEADLINE', visiting 16 cities worldwide. BLACKPINK recently began filming for their new full-group music video. YG Entertainment stated, "We are all working hard to deliver the best results, and the album is in its final stages to enhance musical completeness. We will share good news as soon as preparations are complete."
Following them were IVE, fromis_9, NiziU, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, IU, and aespa.
The rankings for UNIS, Kim Sejeong, BLACKPINK, IVE, fromis_9, NiziU, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, IU, and aespa were determined 100% by global popularity votes through TENASIA's voting service(topten.tenasia.com).
The criteria for candidates in the K-Pop Boy Brand and K-Pop Girl Brand categories are based on the top 20 male and female idol groups and solo artists on the Melon chart for the month. The Hot Genre Brand category includes domestic groups and solo artists with a history of entering the monthly Melon chart and Idol Champ monthly chart, ranking in the top 20 for the month.
