Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer people want to share traditional drinks with during the cool autumn weather.
From October 13 to October 20, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to drink traditional liquor with in the cool autumn weather?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the winner.
Kim Eui-young gained public recognition after finishing fifth on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May, she released her fourth single album 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track, 'Do Whatever You Want(하고 싶은 거 다 해),' is an upbeat dance trot song that showcases Kim's unique bright and refreshing energy.
In second place is Eun Ga-eun, who recently appeared on the October 17 episode of 'Trot All-Star: Friday Night,' where she delivered a standout performance. During the show, the 'Miss Trot 2' team reunited for a showdown against Miss Kim, who expressed admiration for Eun Ga-eun, saying, "I really like Eun Ga-eun. Her personality is so great that even if I lose, I would applaud her."
Kim Da-hyun secured the third spot. The city of Samcheok announced on October 20 that singer Kim Da-hyun donated 2 million won to the '2025 Samcheok Dongguri Cave Festival.' Since May 2023, she has served as an ambassador for Samcheok, promoting her hometown through various events and performances. Kim Da-hyun stated, "I wanted to give back the love I received as an ambassador in a small way. I will continue to convey warmth through my songs and promote Samcheok and Gangwon."
