BLACKPINK is accelerating preparations for their highly anticipated comeback with a new album, marking their first release in three years.
YG Entertainment announced on the 20th that BLACKPINK will begin shooting a new music video this week. The agency stated, "We are committed to delivering the best results, and both the members and staff are giving their all to the remaining schedule." They added, "The album is in its final stages to enhance musical completeness, and we plan to share good news through official promotions once preparations are complete."
With the music video shoot officially underway, BLACKPINK's group activities are on the verge of resuming. The group is set to release their new album, their first since the 2022 full-length album 'Born Pink,' after a three-year hiatus.
Currently, BLACKPINK is on their new world tour 'DEADLINE,' which kicked off in Goyang. In August, they made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group to hold a solo concert at the UK's Wembley Stadium.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK members are also pursuing individual activities. Jisoo has set records on global charts with her solo track 'Eyes Closed,' and Lisa is gearing up for her role in the film project 'Extraction: Taigo.' Jennie and Rosé are balancing brand activities and music projects as they prepare for the group's comeback.
