Kang Tae-poong, portrayed by Lee Junho, takes a step closer to becoming the president of Typhoon Trading.
In the fourth episode of tvN's 'Typhoon Family,' aired on the 19th, Kang Tae-poong faces another crisis as his house is seized on Christmas Day.
During the episode, Kang Tae-poong visits Pyo Bak-ho, played by Kim Sang-ho, and presents a fax from the Italian headquarters. Kang Tae-poong explains, "You can get a refund at a 30% exchange rate."
Pyo Bak-ho suggests, "Why not just sell the company? I'll pay you enough to get by." Skeptical, Kang Tae-poong questions, "Is there anything important left in Typhoon Trading?" Pyo Bak-ho retorts, "People don't change. You'll fail again."
Unfazed, Kang Tae-poong confidently replies, "Teach Hyun-joon how to walk. I'm learning to fly from my father. I'll keep falling, but one day I'll soar above you."
Kang Tae-poong, along with the sole employee of Typhoon Trading, Oh Mi-seon, played by Kim Min-ha, travels to Busan to find export items. They meet Park Yoon-chul, portrayed by Jin Sun-kyu, who sells safety shoes. Interested in the shoes, Kang Tae-poong decides to purchase them, despite Oh Mi-seon's objections, insisting, "It's a profitable deal."
While intoxicated, Kang Tae-poong writes "I'm sorry" in the sand at the beach with Oh Mi-seon, confessing, "This is how I feel about you." After spending a joyful moment with her, he heads home to spend Christmas with his mother, Jung Jeong-mi, played by Kim Ji-young, only to face another crisis.
Debt collectors invade their home. Witnessing the seizure, Kang Tae-poong resigns to the situation, stating, "There is no Santa Claus." Ultimately, he takes only a fur coat, a gift from his late father Kang Shin-young, played by Sung Dong-il, and heads to Typhoon Trading. At the company, Kang Tae-poong reignites his determination as he looks at the Shupark shoes, building anticipation for the next episode.
