Lee Junho Shines in 'Typhoon Family' as a Determined Employee in Episode 3
Actor Lee Junho is set to captivate audiences with his intense performance in the tvN weekend drama 'Typhoon Family'.

In the third episode, airing on the 18th, viewers will witness Kang Taepung (played by Lee Junho) lying in front of a cargo truck and fighting to protect fabric on a cold winter night. The production team has hinted that this episode will be a pivotal moment showcasing Kang Taepung's transformation from a 'Gangnam Rebel' to a 'real employee'.

Kang Taepung was once the leader of the 'Apgujeong Street Boys', an icon of youth enjoying popularity and freedom. However, after the IMF financial crisis, he joins 'Typhoon Family', which holds 26 years of his father Kang Jin-young's (played by Sung Dong-il) legacy, to start anew. Sensing trouble at the Daebang Textile delivery site, Taepung blocks the truck loaded with fabric, realizing the impending crisis amidst an empty office and disconnected phone lines.

His desperate gaze to protect the company and his father's honor shows his determination to become a true employee of 'Typhoon Family', no longer the 'Gangnam Rebel'. The petals falling over his face symbolize his father's words, "Winning with all your might to bear fruit," marking the beginning of a passionate survival story.

The third episode will depict 'Taepung's Night' following the truck blockade. In the released stills, Taepung is seen guarding the halted fabric, shivering in the cold yet resolute. With visible scars on his face, he clutches the fabric with the determination that "no one can take it," enduring the harsh night. Another scene captures him catching falling fabric with his body, foreshadowing an intense struggle.

The production team stated, "Taepung never backs down in the face of crisis. Watch to see if he can protect the high-end imported fabric as he grows from a 'Gangnam Rebel' to a 'real employee'."

tvN's 'Typhoon Family' episode 3 airs on the 18th at 9:10 PM.
