Song Min-jun has been voted as the number one male trot singer people want to share holiday meals with.
From October 6 to 12, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to share holiday meals with during the upcoming Chuseok?'
Song Min-jun claimed the top spot. He rose to fame after winning the trot audition show 'Golden Mike(골든 마이크)' and further gained recognition by finishing in eighth place on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2(미스터트롯2).' Currently, he is actively promoting his first mini-album 'Prologue.' Last month, on the 20th, he held two album release concerts titled '2025 Song Min-jun Album Release Concert Prologue' at the Woosong Art Center in Daejeon.
Kim Jung-yeon secured the second position. He recently appeared on MBN's 'Family Harmony(가화만사성)' alongside his mother, showcasing their close relationship. Kim shared, "I've been close with my mother like a neighborhood friend since childhood," attributing their bond to frequent physical affection. His mother added, "We hug, pat each other, and even kiss," adding warmth to the show.
In third place is Taebaek. He gained public attention through MBN's 'Burning Trotman(불타는 트롯맨)' in 2023. Starting as a musical actor and transitioning through a performance group, he debuted as a trot singer. Taebaek has received enthusiastic responses from performances for Vietnamese locals and expatriates, earning the nickname 'Energy Boy' for his vibrant personality.
Currently, on the TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com), polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to drink traditional liquor with in the cool autumn weather?' and similar questions for female singers and trot singers.
